Sneak a Peek Week

This week (Monday January 16- Saturday January 21) is sneak a peek week. Parents are invited to observe the last fifteen minutes of all classes.

Studio Closed

The studio is now closed until January 3rd. Thank you to everyone for the extremely thoughtful holiday gifts. The teachers and I are truly touched by your generosity.Have a wonderful and safe holiday! See you in the new year.

Spirit Wear is Here!

Spirit wear apparel and bags are available for pick up in the studio office! We will only release it to parents unless you let us know it's alright for your student to pick it up.

Thanksgiving Break

The studio is closed this week, 11/22-11/27, for Thanksgiving break. Enjoy the holiday!

COSTUME PAYMENTS DUE!

ALL COSTUME PAYMENTS ARE DUE THIS SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 12! Any late payments will be charged a $35 late order fee.


Don't forget that our first practice for the Gahanna Holiday Lights Parade is this Sunday November 13 from 2-3pm! Please bring your $5 costume fee which will pay for your hat and accessories that you will get to keep after the parade! We are very excited to see you all!

Watch Week and Costume Payments

Don't forget that next week, November 7-12, is parent watch week. You are invited to sit in and observe the entire lesson period.

Costume payments for all classes are due by next Saturday November 12. Any payments received after the 12 will be charged a $35 late fee. There will be no exceptions!

Studio Closed for Trick or Treat

Don't forget that the studio is closed tonight, Monday October 31 for trick or treat. Please refer to the October Dance Chatter for make-up classes. Happy Haunting!

Bring a Friend Week

This week, October 24-29, is bring a friend week! Students are encouraged to bring a friend to try a class at JDSD with them. Students and friends are also encouraged to wear their Halloween costume or Halloween attire to enjoy the fun!

October Dance Chatter

The October Dance Chatter has been sent home with all students. It has the costume order form attached to it. If you did not receive a copy visit the Newsletters page here on the site, or stop in the office for a copy. ALL COSTUME DEPOSIT PAYMENTS ARE DUE TO THE STUDIO OFFICE NO LATER THAN NOVEMBER 12, 2011. Any payments received after November 12 will be charged a $35 late fee.

All Boys Tap Class

We have added an all boys tap class to our schedule! The boys break dance is now Thursday from 4:15-4:45, Tap is Thursday from 4:45-5:30 and hip hop is Thursday from 5:30-6:15pm. If you would like to add the tap class to your schedule, please stop in the office, e-mail or call the studio.
We are very excited to have this schedule beginning on Thursday October 6th, 2011.

New Creative Movement Class

Register now for our new creative movement class for 2 to 3 year old children!

The class is offered on Mondays from 4:00-4:30pm or Wednesdays from 4:15-4:45pm.
Classes will begin on Monday October 3 or Wednesday October 5.

Welcome Back!

We have had a great start to our 2011-2012 dance season! We still have openings in our classes, so if you are not registered it is not to late. Recital DVD's from our 2011 recital are now available in the studio office for pick-up.

Open Houses

Join us on Monday August 22 between 6-8:30pm or Tuesday August 30 between 6-8:30pm for one of our open houses. JDSD teachers will be here to help with placement for current students and to help new students find a class.

These open houses are a great time to register for our fall session that will begin Tuesday September 6th, 2011.

Dance Day!

Don't forget that our National Dance Day celebration at Mount Carmel St. Ann's in Westerville is this Saturday, July 23! We ask that everyone wear a JDSD t-shirt, black shorts, and sneakers. If you do not have a JDSD shirt, please wear one or more of our studio colors: black, white, and teal blue. Registration for the event will begin at 9:30am Saturday. There is ample parking at St. Ann's, so invite your family and friends to join us! All ages and skill levels are welcome to come and enjoy the fun.
